One of my biggest gripes is walking into a department store with a large purchase in mind, only to be ignored by the sales staff. An example was not that long ago when I wanted to purchase a new high def Video Camera.

I went to the local Harvey Norman and went to the video camera section, the store was moderately busy but none the less, I stood there and waited. Some 5 mins later, and after being seen by the sales clerk ( and promptly ignored) I pulled out my credit card and tapped it on the counter for a bit in order to show that I was interested in a purchase. No joy, still ignored so I left, went up the road to a Good Guys, again ignored, so off to Retravision where I was greeted upon arrival, given ample help and as a result retravision are now richer….
