Those of us in business are always looking for more customers, most just wait at the counter and hope that people will just walk in to their store because of the pretty lights out the front and for some that is all that is required to be happy with their income.
We all know marketing is important, but it can be expensive. Sites such as twitter and all other social media sites are excellent tools to assist in getting more customers but who uses email effectively? Sure, you may have a list of previous customers who you can regulary make contact with and for some this is a very very succesful means of generating income.
Customers may also interact with you via the humble telephone and for a small business this is also effective, however corporations do drop the ball, I bet calling our major telco is a great example of dropping the ball with service.
So how do customers interact with you? Let me guess.
But how many have contacted you via email? I would say not to many, Why? because it is difficult to find easily, it is not like you can call directory assistance and ask for it.
Email is the forgotten tool, imagine customers being able to easily contact you via email to ask a question or obtain a quote. It is timesaving for you and an opportunity to show excellent customer service. Less time spent on the telephone.
Email lead generation is the way to go!
